In March, Urban Electric marked the Los Angeles premiere of our new documentary, Street Theater, as part of LA Legends. The film explores Robert Rufino’s career and the origins of our collaboration, tracing the creative dialogue that led to the project. It culminates in his transformation of The Current, Vol. 6 into a striking series of window installations on 10th Street in New York City—an immersive, street-level expression of the publication brought to life. The documentary follows this process from concept through execution, capturing both the artistry and intention behind the work. The evening concluded with a conversation between Rufino and Wendy Goodman, who reflected on the film, their enduring creative paths, and the experiences that have shaped their careers.
