This week, we celebrated the New York City premiere of Street Theater at Metrograph. The documentary follows legendary design editor Robert Rufino in a full-circle return to his earliest days of window dressing, reimagined on a scale unlike anything he’s created before. Following the screening, guests remained for a conversation with Robert Rufino and Joshua Charow, the documentary filmmaker, moderated by Michael Boodro. The evening also offered a preview of The Current, Vol. 7, featuring an expanded look at Rufino’s story and the windows at the heart of the film. A celebration of imagination, reinvention, and the enduring power of storytelling through space and spectacle.
